Who am I

My name is Bence Lakatos, and I was born and raised in the vibrant capital of Hungary, Budapest. Growing up in a family of three brothers, all close in age, shaped me in profound ways. Our dynamic household fostered both a competitive and collaborative spirit, teaching me resilience, teamwork, and adaptability from an early age.

Sports have always been a central part of my life. I explored a wide range of disciplines—including judo, swimming, American football, and handball—but it was handball where I truly found my passion. Playing at a professional level for nearly a decade, I learned the value of discipline, perseverance, and balancing the demands of both athletics and academics. Managing this balance was a challenge, but it taught me the importance of time management and commitment.

After graduating high school, I embarked on one of the biggest challenges of my life—moving to Denmark to pursue my studies. Stepping into an entirely new culture and environment without a safety net was daunting, yet it has been an incredibly rewarding journey. Since then, I have embraced every opportunity to grow, push my limits, and strive to become the best version of myself.
